The Alphatribe Neoprene adventure

Alphatribe Magazine is making its annual pilgrimage to Gran Canaria on what is traditionally Maspalomas Fetish Week and this year we have decided to go a little wilder then before and explore the island in our Neoprene. Teaming up with our new fetish friendly friends at Can Canaria (a gay run excursion company) we are going to organise a Canyoning Trip on Saturday October 2^nd.  

Discover Gran Canaria’s wild side with this fun and unique adventure activity in the heart of nature. Canyoning is the most complete way to actively know the island, combining trekking, climbing, abseiling, jumping and lots of crazy fun. Don’t worry we provide the neoprene.

Your instructor will pick you up at 10am at the Nuevo Rokoko Cafe near Yumbo (Av. Alfereces Provisionales 31, 35100 San Bartolomé de Tirajana) and drive you directly to Los Cernicalos Ravine. About 6 hours later he’ll drop you off at Yumbo where you are welcome to join for a beer and a chat about the crazy thing you’ve done today.

During our day we will visit the magical Laurisilva Forest, discovering native plants and enjoying its great biodiversity. 

In this ravine, ideal for beginners, we carry out a total of 4 rappels, the largest being about 17 meters, it also has 4 small natural slides. All this by making a journey of less than 2 km through the interior of the forest and with a drop of about 430 meters in total. 

The decent of the ravine lasts approximately 2-3 hours, although if transport and the approach on foot are taken into account, the activity has a total duration of between 4 and 6 hours.

All of your equipment is provided. What you need to bring is:
+ A pair of closed sport shoes that may get soaked and dirty
+ Snacks and a bottle of water (bring small items as we carry them with us)
+ Sun cream
+ Hygienic cloth mask for during transport
+ Swimwear
+ Towel
+ A spare set of dry clothes including shoes and socks
+ A smile and an adventurous spirit
