To add dancing to the mix of drinks and man-sex, take a short walk from Chueca to the Strong Center, where you’ll find a massive dancefloor combined with a huge labyrinthine sex club. Strong hosts frequent slutty, men-only, fetish dance parties Into the Tank, Noctox, and Odarko. What really makes Madrid a capital of sleaze is SleazyMadrid an enormous fetish dance event taking place over several nights in late April and early May, coinciding with Spain Fetish Week. It’s like the usual Strong Center events but on steroids. (Allegedly.) But so much sleaziness can’t be kept to just once a year. So plan for SleazyMadrid at Madrid Pride in late June and early July and SleazyMadrid Winter in December.
Need more sleaze? Give the Malasaña neighborhood a try. Naked is a sex bar there with a nude or underwear dress code, but it’s fetish-friendly. Got a taste for South American hustlers? Check out Sauna Adan nearby. There’s more fucking to be had further out in Conde Duque, where you’ll find bears and older guys at Sauna Príncipe. Conde Duque is also home to Sauna Paraíso, a bathhouse with BDSM equipment and slightly younger guys.
If or when you’re ready to crash (or you just need a bed to fuck some more), Malasaña is home to two budget-friendly gay hotels—Hostal la Zona and Hostal Pizarro. Both are very close to Chueca. For something a little funky deep in the heart of Chueca, check into Room Mate Oscar. During the daylight hours, pick up some gear at Chueca’s SR Fetish & Leather Shop. Before heading out again at night, get groomed at Bearbero in Chueca or Barbers Crew in Malasaña. And before you leave Madrid, check out Chueca>An>>Dante, an AIDS memorial creatively incorporated into the architecture of a parking garage. But really, you may not want to leave Madrid at all.
