Darklands has released a first series of artist impressions. Various stages and interiors show the post-apocalyptic style that is typical for Darklands combined with water themed details. The images show first drafts that might be updated according to the wishes of the presenting partners.
The festival sees a large main entrance building for the first time. Lights and special effects flood the entrance in a blue underwater atmosphere.
Camp K9, for the first time open during the day and the night parties, gets an upgraded bar and the ball pool obviously returns. Camp K9 is presented by Mister-S-Leather
The main stage is the heart of the festival and the goal is to ‘wow’ visitors again each year. Based on the image the water aspect comes to live with a large number of water fountains.
The food take-out counter gets a full make-over in the same style that we saw earlier on the main stage design.
Mr-S-Leather is this years host of the second stage at Darklands where for the first time a program is offered on 4 full days and nights.
The Reef, bar & terrace, are hosted by Mr-Riegillio. Located centrally on the market, this offers a great space for a drink during shopping.
The Kraken Bar & Bistro offers snacks and drinks during the entire opening hours of Darklands. Rusty metal, wooden beams and turquoise/petrol coloured curtains create a warm steam punk look. In the centre of the ceiling the kraken is looking for its next prey.
